The tranquillity of this place was mind-blowing, worth the long drive! Waking up to the jaw-dropping views was heaven. The cottage was super, with a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and board games for fun nights. The staff was always available and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The location within the castle grounds was AMAZING, with a boat trip to see adorable seal babies. Local cafes and shops nearby were a bonus. Free parking, Wi-Fi, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV were provided. Perfect for hiking and fishing. No pets or smoking allowed. Can't wait to come back!

The decoration of the cottage was simply delightful, with cozy armchairs and floral wallpaper that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for us senior folks, with clear pathways and handrails for support. It was lovely to see that the children working there, as well as the other guests, were considerate and accommodating towards us.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a grab bar in the bathroom for added safety.
